Got a little video I’m sorting through. U don’t want to see it…

I should add, did not see one other boat all day.

Nothing to brag about, 120’ out of BB and did I tell you I like 11 second wave intervals:sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:.
BSB galore, small AJ, Triggers stacked up at 80 feet, Silver Snapper.

Coming in stopped at a spot in 72’, Red Snapper on a Jig and biggest BSB came there instead of 120’, go figure. bunch of Sharks on the shallow spot and none deep [:0].
H20 66.5 in 120’ awesome weed line, devoid of life, did not see any Bonita, ocean was pretty dead looking.

No Groupa :dizzy_face::dizzy_face:, live bait tough right now, BSBs were eating some 10" frozen Whole Whiting in 120’,so much for that.

Always fun thou and the last trip till April. Headed South

Phin how were those Cigar Minnows? I bought same brand from West Marine in Chas and they sucked, very mushy.

Bought Ran over some DNR temporary markers half mile out, off Five Fathom Creek, Sunk Boat ??? Anyone know ???

ended up with 43 assorted bottom fish. black sea bass, vermillion, triggers, white grunt, red porgies, knob head porgies, bunch a little bonito all around, caught one on a silver spoon when the school got close. no flipping grouper. schools of AJ all around, but they never ate anything.

frustrating day honestly, weather was perfect, but drift constantly changed and made setting up on spots hard. Also, the fish were not very active early in the day for me. My first attempt at finding good bottom in an area i hadn’t been to was a complete bust, so I poured a bunch of gas down the drain going back to a spot I knew held fish. My spots I had gone to just a few weeks ago were not marking nearly as many fish on the finder. Stopped on the way back in to a spot I had ran over a month ago and pulled up 4 triggers, and bigger sea bass than we caught further out. although we had to reel in 100,000 baby ones. they are endangered, remember.

Also, caught a 20 lb endangered red snapper.

lost half my electronics (bow lights, stern light, deck lights, boat horn) on the way back in and the Mr. DNR waiting at the ramp (waiting only on me as I was the only truck left) decided to give me a little christmas present for bow lights malfunctioning after sunset. I was overjoyed.
