Fishing Rig/Leader supplies

I have recently gotten into making my own bottom rigs and leaders. Does anyone know of a good source to get the parts at in bulk? especially someone who carries the plastic bead stops?

How bulky is bulk? 100 or 1000?

Either would do. I would eventually use them. It just seems like everywhere I look locally usually offers a 10 pack or something simular…

Walmart usually has big packs of those beads pretty cheap. That’s where I get mine. Whether they’re in stock or not when you walk in is always a mystery, though.

I look in Wal-mart everytime Im there, but havent seen any. It would be my luck that someone is always buying the last pack as I am walking in the front door… LOL

Check out the craft isle you won’t believe the things you can find.

I buy barrel swivels in the largest packs I can find, within reason. If you are using mono for the leaders, the Offshore Angler stuff from Bass Pro Shops is pretty good, I use 50 and 100 for bottom bouncing rigs (inshore/catfish), and 20 pound for inshore shallow water.

I get my beads from Michaels (craft store) or wal-mart in the craft section. I get the beads used for making kids necklaces. They are about the same size but the holes are larger. Works fine so far…

also…pm stonoman…theres a guy he introduced us to…retired military who runs a little shop in a garage behind his stor. we bought bulk boxs/bags stuff for flounder rigs. real nice fella… if you go sdown 61 towards summerville…you will pass hardees on your left…then you will see a pharmacy/drug store next light on your right. turn beside it. his house/shop is right behind it. has a fish lure mailbox. Local tackle stores are great…but its nice to toss a little business to someone like this too.
