Apparently there was a bunch of stuff DNR put in the stono in 2005

Does anyone know if that is still there or covered with mud? Also,
does/did it hold fish?

It’s not marked. I believe it to be sedimented over. Although when I get my own boat I’m going to try to find it out their, same thing happened to most of folly pier reef Ive been told
The last time I was in that area, sometime last year, there was only one marker left. It never produced anything that I heard and I think it has been covered over. Too much strong current probably silted over the structure.
We went there a couple of years back to give it a try, however, after attempting to find structure near the marker for about an hour we gave up. When I asked some folks who live on JI they told me that the structure either sank into the mud or was silted over within a couple of years after it was sunk. We tried fishing in that area anyway but didn’t get a bite with live or dead bait or Gulp. If anyone manages to find any structure in that location I would certainly like to hear about it.

The marker is gone. PioneerLouie is right, it covered up with mud. If you go over it it just looks like small humps on your bottom finder. There are better places to fish that end of the Stono. Don’t waist your time looking for those mud humps.
A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.
It was a waste of time and effort.75 foot hole off Botney would be a great inshore reef.
