Fishing the Eclipse

So I’m sitting hear at work slaving away and multitasking with another guy in the office about fishing during the eclipse. Not a lot online about it, they don’t happen that much. Tide will be a negative low for the eclipse, wondering if this will turn on off or have no effect on the bite that day.

I’m optimistic it will turn on the bite and will be a killer day of fishing.

What you think?

Could be the craziest fishing ever - tides do weird things to nature in general, and a complete solar eclipse… Could make things interesting.

As far as me, I’m planning on taking a group of friends out in the ocean, past any artificial light, if the seas aren’t too bad.

negative low tides sure make the ICW fun. we should all get out there for the fun.

Lol - fun indeed. Only thing I can think to add to the mix would be some out of town paddleboarders, clueless to our waterways and wearing eclipse glasses.

Oh, I’m sure we’ll have plenty of “SC natives” out there on the water flexing their clueless muscle and representing the human race as horribly as possible.

God bless the “ignore” function.

hopefully happy ours will be on the job policing the wakers and bird shooters. we can hope.

Fingers crossed…

It’ll be the most epic day time dock light fishing ever…small window, but epic…

Negative low tide = giggin

“You’ll burn your eyes out kids!”

I predict records will be set.
