If it indeed gets a bit warmer this weekend, how does it affect fishing, if any effects? I know the water temp is not going to change much. Just trying to learn from the pros!

I think the effects will be very minimal. It would take several days of 70+ to elevate water temps. I would work both banks and channels upriver like I always do and may find more fish in the shallows if the water gets back to 53-54 degrees. The fish have been orienting more toward the channels according to recent reports. As always, the trick is to what you do best but be flexible.

If you want to try the largemouth bass this weekend they should bite pretty good. A sunny warm day is usually all you will need to turn them on in the afternoon. I would suggest fishing green pumpkin trick worms rigged one of the following ways. Shakey head, Spot remover, Texas or Carolina rigged. Go to rocky points near deep water and if that doesn’t work try the backs of sunny shallow coves near deep water.
Keep your eyes open for the gulls. If you see them diving don’t run all the way into them. Stay atleast a long cast away, use the trolling motor whenever possible, and throw bucktails in them. Drop a marker where the gulls are diving and try the spoons for white perch. Usually if the gulls are diving the stripers and/or perch are actively feeding. The biggest mistake you can make is to run in hard, make one cast and spook the school.
i am going up the l/saluda this weekend and catch crappie. they are there. i just need to find them.
