what is your opinion about fishing tomorrow night. It is approaching a full moon. There is a slight cold front coming through. It will be cloudy. Will the striper be bitting? I have not fished enough to be able to weigh all of these factors. I have heard that the striper have been bitting at night.
Sounds like you are on to something. I have never fished all night for stripers. I have spent many hours on the lake at night with my wife and kids in our ski boat. Night time is cooler, more pleasant and less traffic, smoother, ets, etc. I have seen many people from Charlotte, NC fish at night on Murray. Locals seem to fish the early morn bite. I live 1 mile from the lake so I can fish a couple of hours then come home before it gets hot. I hear the fish bite well at night from the guys who catch the bait. Attracting the herrin with a light and then fishing below the boat. I personnally like the schooling striper. They hit hard and fight hard. plus its fun chasing them. I have never seen or heard schooling fish at night. Write back with your results, I might be interested in trying the night bite.
