On another note…
On the 10th depending on weather I want to do the photo/fishin thing again. So far it looks like me and Johnny again and Scotty D says he should be in… what say you Dave of the Dolphins? I don’t know where we are going to go yet… I really like the “Ville” so we may have to fish a different part to make different backgrounds… Let me know if ya wanna go and I’ll let ya know where and when again…

howd you guys do.
We crushed em!!! To steal a line from Livestoked, It was an EPIC SESSION! We put in before low tide and just made it out of the landing before the tide dropped. Paddled out to the open water and immediately found the trout. Lots of nice fish, up to 20". We were getting fish on every cast. Color of choice was the ol’ faithful, rootbeer and chart DOA grub. Three of us wore em out for about an hour and then the bite slowed as the tide slacked, so we went looking for reds. Paddled around for a while until we finally found them. William saw two at first, then we saw the school. I have never seen anything like it before, redfish were literally surrounding us! Probably 200-300 fish in the school. Spooked them a few times, but they kept coming back. I pulled three fish out and William got two before the tide got up and the school disappeared. Reds were caught on everything we threw at them, DOA, spoons, and cut mullet.
We ended the day back on the trout again and the bite was hot, but the fish weren’t as big the second time around.
Totals for the day:
over 50 trout, all legal, up to 20"
5 reds up to 31.5" and 12 lbs
1 case of beer
Here are some of the pics: (I left my nice new camera at home, so cell phone was all I had)
Dinner:
Sanford’s Neck Koozie:
Reds:
Going again on Thursday morning if anyone wants to go!
