fishing with the family...

Our youngest son Benjamin is home visiting after being away for several years serving in the USAF. Wow…It was so good to see him and his family all home again! We had a chance to do a little fishing so I thought Id post a few pics. The children had never been in a boat fishing so this was …as john said…“wheally-wheally fun!!” We rode around looking at the touristy things…Fort Sumter…YorkTown…The new bridge…the Battery… even got a shout out from Sir Stretch of Holy City Charters who we passed on our way in…and had a great day on the water. Heres some pics…please humor me …you know…that proud mom and grandma…lol that sounds funny…thing:smiley::wink:

even Roo was excited!

john wasnt so sure about touching the fish he reeled in:wink:

haley wanted to know if she did could she add it to her total for the day…lol

see the minnow bucket hanging in the water behind the boat…

Great pics and story. Handsome son and BEAUTIFUL grandkids! Must ache to see them when they aren’t around. Looked like the waves and weather behaved quite nicely to take the youngins out!

Great day Penn, looks like you got your fair share of Endangered BSB haha

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Having our grankids 1000 miles away really bites but the time we do get to spend is ever so much more precious!! Good to see that you all had a good time and many memories were made.

Thanks everyone! Hurricane…when in doubt…BSb is a guarantee for entertaining kids…you now they’ll bite non stop!

I can hear the stories now when they get back to school and the teacher asks, “What did you do on summer vacation?” Looks like a great day, Pen!

Great pictures Pen; I’m glad you got to spend some time with your family, especially the time on the water. I been all over the world and it’s true that there is NO PLACE HOME! Hope they have a safe trip back… Oh yeah, as someone posted on here before, you should write a book…
