Does anybody fish Five Fathom Creek? Haven’t had much luck south of Buck Hall so I thought I would head north. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
there are no fish north of garris landing, try the stono
ass
Reaper, we caught two limits of good trout today north of Bulls Bay. Nothing unique about the area. I try to look for good conditions rather than any particular area. Trout like clear, moving water on points on a rising tide, and creek mouths on a falling. I have faith in a DOA popping cork with a gold or silver flake shrimp. Next time they might be in another spot, but same conditions. Time on the water!!!
The grass bank from the mouth of 5 Fathom to the mouth of Bull River was good to me on many occasions. Get up in the grass on high water with shrimp or mullet under a float.
A buddy and I used to catch good numbers of reds at the mouth of Five Fathom. Lots of good humps and drops to sit baits on. Helluva shark hole too, but that’s a different story all together.

I will give it a try tomorrow, I am terrible at figuring out how to fish inshore. Worst case we will just throw some live mullet or menhaden out and let them sit!
Thanks for the info, hopefully we will have some tight lines tomorrow!
