…well I’ve about wore a hole in the bottom of my pungo (can see light thru it and is paper thin). I have some 2 part delco epoxy and thinking about trying that. Of course I didn’t save my cut-outs from the rod holders or I could try the heat/weld thing.
Anyone got extra pieces they would be willing to part with? Or perhaps some experience with good results.

Get up with DD, see if he has any cutouts laying around? Melt the plastic so you can fill the hole, then work away from the damaged area to build it up. All I used was a soldering iron with a wide blade on the end. I’ve seen one kit that sells you the plastic, iron, and a small piece of stainless steal mess…about $25.

worked great, I filled in the soft spot on keel and “blended in” some holes I drilled years ago. It was about 50$ and bought it from arizona tools.
