Early morning at work and the waters were slick or at least that’s what it looked like until I got on the water at 1:30pm. Tide going out and after reading the reports of all those stuck in the mud over the past weekend I thought (here we go again). Plained immediately got to Goose Creek and the gnats torn me up and all of a sudden the wind came up and was blowing hard. Ran back into flag creek to get out of the wind and caught One nice red that was tagged so he swam away after some #'s. Spoke with one other boater whom said they only caught some small trouts. Getting back in was as challenging as getting out. Left camea, so excited to get out after a long haul onshore gardening and house arrest.
