I have a 1986 duracraft all welded boat. The flat bottom has a large bend in the middle of the boat from port to starboard… What’s the proper way to get this repaired.?
Get a BFH(Big Frigging Hammer) and beat the heck out of it from the inside!
Sorry I just got home from work and am working on my 3rd beer.
Really, that’s a tough one to answer without seeing it. Can you post some pictures so I can see what the damage is?
I’ll be glad to steer you in the right direction, if I can.

Aluminum is a great material. Where it fails is when it has a: “a large bend in the middle of the boat”
PS I also have 3 beers in me and I may change my opinion tomorrow. Or not. ![]()
