Flat or chop

I know flat calm conditions are best for not getting tossed around and making people sick, but is that good conditions for fishing? I know in bass fishing, a little chop is a good thing. Didn’t know how that applied to off shore.

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

Days that are that are flat calm I usually bottom fish. Seems like the troll bite slows for me when it gets glassy.

I drink more beer when it is flat…

and I like flat…caught plenty of fish in flat, still water and plenty in rough.

If your in the right place it won’t matter if its a little choppy or slick calm
