Walked one of my most productive flats ended up getting there late but still saw a few tails. I hooked one 5 ft from me I placed it in front of him I ended up pulling the hook:angry:. Had some more shots not takers my buddy hooked a nice one on spin gear but the hook on the spoon broke. Going to try again soon hopefully. Wind pushed the water up pretty fast.

Top. I have been using a copperhead lately with a strong leader and have not had one pull the hook in sometime. Might be worth a shot. Calibogue turned me on to this set-up: store bought 12 pound tapered leader. Cut the leader back in the taper and allbright 20 pound tippet to it where the diameters are just about equal. You can horse the hell out of the fish thus a quicker fight and as I said I haven’t had one pull the hook recently.
I’ll definitely give it a try. Going tomorrow 1130 6.4
