Flats fishing 1/15

Had the chance to go do some flats fishing on Monday. I was on a dock so did not get to move spots or anything but luckily I didn’t need to. When I arrived the tide was almost dead low and the wind was about 10mph but it was easy to see in the water considering it was a sunny day and the clear water. Right as the water started moving in i saw a school of about 20 reds. As soon as I casted ahead of the school to my surprise they were quick to turn and I immediately hooked up. Continued to see schools for about two hours until the water was high but most of the schools I casted to ended in a hookup. All fish were 19-25 inches and were caught on a clear weedless trout trick with a chartreuse tail and a slow bump retrieve. Looking to head back out tomorrow and will post pictures of catches.

Glad to hear they are biting. I’m going to try them tomorrow.
Thanks for the report.
