Went on a family flats fishing trip with my parents and daughter. Caught a small one on my third cast and spent the rest of daylight trying to help my daughter - no luck.
I left the audio on for comedic effect. My videographer could use some practice.
Well, at least she’s out on the water with Mom and Dad, and willing to try the camera. Next time she’ll have the audio and zoom thing figured out. Hopefully she’ll get a fish too.
Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.
She’s definitely a good sport and good at fishing. That flats fishing just takes a little practice.
Were y’all fly fishing or using a spinning rod?

Spinning rods with DOA shrimp. I have a fly rod that I have never used. I think my boat would be perfect for fly fishing, so next trip I’m going to give it a try.
Yeah I haven’t tried a fly from my kayak yet either, I may soon, I have had a crab pattern to the back of the head before, doesn’t feel to good haha
