Flats are turned on right now. This little turn in water temp has really changed the bite. They are starting to load up for the winter already.
Took the 9ft Stealth out (sweet little kayak)- 6.6 High tide at mid afternoon, cloudy conditions and light wind .
On the way to the flats caught 3 keeper size reds under the docks, then for the first time ever on the flats cast to three Reds and caught all three. VERY AGGRESSIVE FISH!
Normally hook-up is one for every 4/5 casts
