I don’t know if anyone has seen my Carolina style flats boat I just finished in the “offshore discussion” but I’m wanting to bring it down next weekend and get some cool pictures of it in the back country. I’m not familiar with these waters at all and wondered if anyone knows of some cool backdrop areas to use. Thanks for the help!
Joel-
I live in Charlotte weekdays, Charleston weekends. I’ve watched the build and await to hear how she rides. If you’re thinking out Folly way let me know and I can likely help you out. I too am impressed with the craftmanship and dedication of you guys. I’d love to think my kids (your age) could have ever done this.
Your boat has been impressive to watch as it was being built. If you want a dramatic city background, anywhere in the harbor is great, especially in the evening as the sun is setting. OR if you want more natural, grass/trees/hummock islands as backgrounds, the Stono has plenty of areas like that. It will really depend upon what you’re looking for. Looking forward to seeing photos of your boat in action!
Great looking boat. I must say you are the man. pm sent

Thanks guys,
I have responded to the pm messages. Sounds like there are plenty of great natural looking areas. No if I can just manage to not get hung up on a low tide somewhere.haha
