This was sent to me by my clients in Texas, who I built the boat for. They broke it in right and made me proud, so I thought I would share it. I know there are a couple of forum members building the same boat.
My boats are guaranteed to catch fish:smiley:

That is awesome! I really enjoyed your posts on the build. I would really like to build a small shallow draft boat with the FS18 being high on the list…I just don’t have the room to do it know, but that may change shortly.

Thank you sir. This is a true flats boat, or technical poling skiff. Draft is 2 1/2" static with 2 adults and gear. It’s got a jet pump on the outboard and can almost run on wet grass.
If I ever get the time I’d like to build one for myself, but I may have to wait until I retire

Port O’Connor is less than an hour down the road from where I grew up. Larry, where is the build thread? I missed that somehow.
If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.
I appreciate y’alls comments on the boat
I had nothing at all to do with the video.

It is on the Bateau forum. Beware it is 121 pages long and has a LOT of unrelated chatter. We tend to wander off topic
Start here on about page 10.

Yeah, except for having built the boat…

Just spent a while looking at the build thread. I’m such a sucker for build threads! CL you are a great craftsman and very generous in your teaching and tips. Great stuff. Thanks
