Flats Walkin' With The Wife

Hit the flats with the wife on Sunday see if we could find her a big Redfish. We saw about 12 or so tails but she didn’t manage to catch one, she had one eat and he started pulling line but missed the hook set. I managed to catch one had a great day, the fish today had lots of color.

This one swam right beside us

She told me she looks forward to going back and catching her first big red on the flats … The next trip should be soon

Very cool

Awesome! Took my 5 year old the other day for his first flats trip, and he had a blast. Didnt see many tails, but I dont think the tide reached a 6.5. But we had fun none the less. Good job again

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>If I can get off a flat and only bother the fish that have a fly in them, I feel great. Even, if I don’t get to stick a hook in one, I feel great if none of them spook.

Good job Cane… and Mrs. Cane.

Yeah, fly rod is traveling out next time, Mrs. Cane doesn’t have a fly rod, nor mastered the technique, the Gulp Crabs seemed challenging enough, you learn a lot about them fishing with artificals also
