Flexo Crab

Has anyone ever tied any of these? I would like to buy some and figured someone on here has or would like to try whipping some up.

It says it’s a “lifelike crab pattern”.

i tie one using the peasant back or rump feathers on that crab. they look just like a chinaback fiddla. coat them for a wet shean look and use on top of the carapace. ive stopped tying claws…they catch more fisherman. crabs dont try to flee and they dam sure dont put up their dukes and try to fight off a fish…they hide, with their appendages tucked.

The left claw lasted for 4 fish last year before it got lost but the right one is still there. Only have 1 good one left. I made them weedless with a piece of 50pd mono run throught the body and around by the hook. No hangups yet. Can you get the Flexo skin around town?

I would think you could use any braided tubing? Squash it flat and epoxy coat it?

I actually think it looks pretty cool but, I always find it funny when people use the term “it looks natural”. Is the natural part the steel hook, the nylon body, the brass eyes or the rubber band legs…?
