pretty slow day overall, but it was beautiful. Started out in 140’ water @ 78 degrees and pushed out to 180’, found some weeds and picked up 1 gaffer and a slinger. Had 2 more peanuts, but they got to live to fight another day. Pushed out to 220’ @ 79.5 degrees and hooked up on a sail only to fight him for 10 seconds, put on a nice aerial display, and had a line malfunction of some sort. Had another come through and strike, but missed the hook set; 0/2 on sails. Pushed out to the hole with nothing to show. Ended up with 2 dolphin in the box. Ran back in a pond @ 35knts and burned 111 gals. In the process of making a video compliation of 2012 season.
It was a pretty day and I had nothing to show for it…2 baby gags ans 2 Monster Blue fish.
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I’m going fishing…!!
