flood tides this weekend on wando?

I was hoping to get out on the wando this weekend in search of some tailers. I’ve never fished the wando during a flood tide. Does anyone know how high the tides need to be for a flood tide on the wando? Any suggestions for a flat to hit from the yak?

Need a bit of water for those flats… there are tons… half the fun is finding them

Hey NIKON if u need a partner to search for some reds let me know I’ve been dying to get on a boat to find some flats

Thanks Nikon, It is supposed to be up to 6.79ft at paradise friday evening. Is that enough water to flood those flats? If so are the flats close to the boat launch at paradise any good? I’ve had luck at low tide there, just never tried flood tides. Also do you have any idea why paradise has soo much higher tides than say the 41 bridge on the wando? My tide charts show a large difference.

The paradise flats will be plenty full on that tide… All those flats look VERY fishy and perfect but I have never seen a tail on most of them… I did see some sheepshead tailing last year across the river… some of those flats are hard as a rock and easy to wade and some break the rules as they have short grass but DEEEEEEEEPPPP pluff mud… Be real careful if you wade… I’ll send you a PM wiht a couple places to look at…
