I don’t think real tiger fans were quiet during the Coot’s 5 glory years, we still had good seasons and most of us don’t judge the success of our team by whether or not they beat the Coots. Sure, that is icing on the cake to go along with a 10+ win season, but I don’t mind eating cake without icing every once in a while.

I don’t think it’s a matter of “guns blazing” with that team. When you have a roster full of .22LR going up against teams with rosters full of .308’s, .300WM’s and .500 Nitro’s, you aren’t going to win many games. Moore and Cooper are the only players you have that would be considered high power, they can’t do it alone.

Guns blazing is an expression, it means really try hard. Maybe they are trying their hardest. I just know they have had some really good quarters and some really bad ones. I’d be less frustrated if they could play one entire game well. There’s no shame in getting beat by a better team if you left it all on the field. I just don’t see a full game effort.

No, I read all of your post. Mine was in response to the fact there is zero real talent on that team with the exception of Moore and Cooper. Games ebb and flow, from what I’ve seen you’re getting all they have (since Elliot took over), they just don’t have the ability when other teams decide it’s time to quit messing around and play or figure out how to get around the chicken game plan. It also is apparent that coaches are not adjusting during the game, especially on defense.

Florida could have brought their c game yesterday. What a brutal performance (or lack thereof) to sit thru. Going to be interesting to see what the next coaching staff looks like.
