Went to Islamorada for a week and went diving, fishing, and lobstering. Caught mangrove snapper, grunts, and barracuda from the inshore reefs and a dock. I also tried inshore lobster hunting but while I was searching for them I was stopped by FWC for not having a dive flag. Later that day my cousin and I kayaked out a few hundred feet and I started looking for the lobsters while he stayed up top with the kayak. I caught five the first day and three the second day. Most of them were small but I got to keep one to eat. The video at the link below is of me snorkeling and lobstering. Sorry I don’t have better shots of the lobstering but I couldn’t get the gopro to stay on my head. Enjoy the video! https://youtu.be/5sdZzdN_GOU
This is the head of one of the big ones.

Hope y’all managed to make it out and snorkel some of the reefs. Fished down there a couple weeks ago and caught some snapper, rainbow runners and a tarpon. Barracuda did not want to bite at all.

I saw a giant cuda around the docks but I couldnt get it to bite. I’m not sure what I would have done with it though if I landed it.
