The wife and kids have been asking me to take them to the Keys for the last couple of years. Well I think we are going to do it this Summer. I have not been down in 15 years and I imagine somethings have changed. I am looking for something 2 BR/2 BA (1 bath would work) on either a beach or canal. I have not yet decided if I want to drag the boat down (I want to to but will have to think about that) but having the option of docking out ■■■■■■■■■■ would be nice.
The wife and I are regular working stiffs (cop and teacher) so luxury is not an option and fortunately all she requires is neat and clean, fancy is not in her vocabulary. I know there are a lot of travelers on this site so, if you are aware of something I might find interesting, I would appreciate any input. I have looked at VRBO and Homeaway, I was looking for first-hand knowledge if there is any.
