Stayed on Islamorada for a week. Drove down to marathon and went diving with Captain Hooks. Did two dives and saw squirrelfish, lobster, large nurse sharks, angelfish, hogfish, and most other reef fish you can think of. Dive went great other than getting stung by a jellyfish on the ladder. Also went lobstering in the Florida Bay from a kayak. I got pulled over by fwc the first try for a lack of a dive flag while I was snorkeling, but the second try i caught 5 and kept one. I fished off the dock there and caught grunts, snapper, and some little barracuda. It was a good trip overall. Check out the video of the dive below and my GIANT lobster I caught.:smiley:

I love the Keys. Never managed to be down there when lobster were in season. If you like scallops, go to the west coast during scallop season. Fun and tasty.
