Florida Keys Vacation Rental

Anyone have any suggestions for a rental in the middle to lower keys. Starting to plan a family vacation for next year and looking for some help narrowing down the options.

Venture Out resort on Cudjoe is awesome. You can get a real nice stilt house on a canal that sleeps 4-6, tie your boat up to the front door, with easy access to Atlantic and Gulf, good ramp, good marina and store, with all the comforts of home for about $1,300 a week.

VRBO.com has tons of house, condos, etc… and we have rented through them for nearly 10 years now. We had a house with dockage on the Atlantic side in Tavernier for $1,200/week. Homeaway and tripadvisor aren’t bad sources either.

Yea, I’m already looking at VRBO. Was just hoping to get some ■■■■■■■■ to help narrow down the search.

It’s a great life, if you don’t weaken…

Be careful where you stay if you choose a place on the gulf/bay side. You could have to make a fairly long run to get to a cut through to the Atlantic. I get street addresses and then go to Google Earth to look at exactly where the house is located. This is especially true around Key Largo. The run to the Atlantic can be a little long if in Largo Sound or north of that area. You can see cut throughs to the Atlantic on Google Earth. Not an expert on teh area but have been going down on and off for 30+ years and regularly for the last 7.
