Anyone know good places to surf fish around Jacksonville and St Augustine. I need to be able to drive on the beach to fish.

i live just north of the flodira line and as for driving on the beach amelia island, fl (fernandina beach) will be your best bet, which is not far north of jacksonville. there are several access points in fernandina beach, but you will need a driving permit to drive on the beach of you arent a nassau county resident. if you go to the very south end of amelia island, theres amelia island state park that has a $2 entry fee and a sign that says 4x4 vehicles on beach only…NOTHING about needing a permit (pretty sure the permit is a fernandina thnig). the water at amelia island state park is like a much bigger breach inlet. right by the parking lot is a bridge and a big pier over the river, but go left a ways and you will be ocean front. ive only tried there once and didnt get anything in the 50 degree weather and ripping tide (couldnt keep a line out) so i mostly ended up exploring the area but ive been told theres plenty to catch. if you want i could probably meet you there sometime but no promises with my work schedule.
