I was looking at SCDNR online just to double check before I went gigging this weekend & it shows the Flounder limit as 15 per person per day (30 per boat). I was think in the PI & MI area it was only 10 & 15 for other areas. Has this changed or am I missing something online? Also I know you cannot use a generator in the MI & PI waters but did not see it mentioned online. I usually always get a regulation book but cannot find one local so I wanted to make sure I am not overlooking anything that might be shown somewhere else online.

The 5 year special management of flounder in Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island ended on June 30 2014. The statewide recreational limit of 15/person/day or 30/boat 14 inch total length went into effect statewide on July 1, 2014. Hope this helps.
Okay, make sense now. Thanks for the help.
So what about the generators? Is that rule still in place?
I think its gone as well. Check with local law enforcement.
That no generator was a good thing for Murrells. Believe me, they are taking enough flounder without them.
Hey Strato…good to see you again my friend…new ride…?? Hope you found the trout.
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I’m going fishing…!!
yeah same here Doc. Good to see you too. Been mostly floundering and half assed trouting. One or two here and there but it’s not ON yet
