Anyone having any luck gigging? I have gone a few times and havent had much luck.(2 17inch and 19 inches) I have noticed the bait action picking up in the creek. So its getting close.
Im new to the area so anyone who would like to team up pm me. I am desperate to find good sandy stretches in range for a kayak. Thanks for the help
I wish I could go, and I wish I could take you. It will have to wait until next year when I get back from Okinawa, Japan. Until then, keep pressing. Hint: flounder will lay on some sandy areas, but the majority are on the oyster beds. Find the bait, and you will find the fish. Most sandy areas don’t have much bait, most of your oysters that are alive, NOT dead oyster shell beds, will have bait. Bait = fish there to eat the bait. Hope this helps a little.
