short trip out on the water…mixed bag or as donnie refered to it…inshore trash slam…

had a great day on the water…frozen shrimp,mudd minnows,haddens(which were every where) and artificials for bait…fishing bottom and top. was a bit breezy but then again with the heat the breeze was nice. Spent 30 minutes dragging a big timber about 12 foot long back to the hill that had somehow gotten lodged pointing at a 90 angle in the mudd… edge of channel right off of one of the docks in the cut…could have caussed major damage to someone for sure,had a hard time getting it out of the mud as one end was covered with barnicles and very bottom heavy…got rewarded for the effort, not only by knowing it was a good thing to do…but found a minnow bucket in the edge of the marsh and a brand new throw cushion…tags still on it. Btw…for those who have used "the cut "lately…they patched all the holes at the top of the ramps there yesterday…

man I could have supplied all of you with hadens in that one cast!!! I shook some back next the top and quickly dumped the rest back over :)…one things for sure…they can sure slime up a net and boat!
