Palmettotrooper, do you have any clear(silver) alum. rod holders you might want to get rid of?
Where are you located? I wouldn’t mind getting together sometime & swap ideas.

No Bob I wish, Those are too pricy for me. I get them only when I need them. I have several projects going on at a time and normally just work on my own stuff. At the end of the day, im never caught up on my stuff and normally if someone ask for help, Ill tell them how much material cost and they go a diff route…As a pro at it, Im sure you know the cost and time put into things. I work all over, mainly the columbia area now but still have work in Beaufort from time to time. Im not a welder by trade, only a hobby

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>Yeah, I know how that goes. I don’t know how many times folks have come to me with “This should be an easy job, a couple of bends here and a couple of welds there.” Then, “!!!It’s going to cost how much!!!???” Besides the cost of anodized aluminum, other materials and consumables like argon gas, filler rod and electricity, there’s the labor it takes to build a quality part. Design, layout, cutting, bending, trimming to fit, and finally welding all play a part in the cost.
If you’re ever in the Red Bank area ( I-20 & Hwy 6), give me a shout.
