Hello im josh, im in the air force. I plan on making several trips down to the area the first being in June. I have a fishing paddle board and would love any information on fishing. thanks very much.
Google Earth is your best friend. Look for accessible creeks and flats. This time of year focus on sight fishing for reds at low tide in the creeks and at high tide in the grass flats. I prefer crab and toad patterns, mostly weedless. Black/purple work well during low tide, in the grass and clear water I use more natural colors.
Bosun had good advice, walk the beach too. South end gives you the opportunity to fish ocean and creek. Look for ditches on the beach at low tide and come back and fish them at high tide.
