I wanna go with ya but I only got waders. I have 4 pairs though. What flies are you planning on using? I might need to hit up Lowcountry Fly before I go to restock on flies.

I wear my duck hunting waders if it’s early in the morning and not too hot. I had a bad experience last year when I was wading without waders and fell on an oysterbed and had to go to the hospital. So I play it safe now haha. Where were you thinkin about goin?

it’s July… the water temp is like 80 degrees and you are wearing waders? Good Lord I don’t even think about waders until late December… If you are wading and falling on oysters you are doing it wrong…

Yep, I realize I was doing it wrong. That was the first time I ever went. I thought it was going to be a hard flat and so I got in and went through the pluff mud right into a bunch of oysters up to my chest and got sliced and diced.

Remember this sage advice about spartina grass I was given years ago…

I have only gotten myself into trouble once and I knew i shouldn’t be there but I HAD to get across a little creek and was too hurried to go get my kayak… Don’t worry… the fish aren’t going anywhere… if you miss them that tide they’ll be back the next
