try cabelas for great priced entry level stuff. You can get a decent outfit with line, backing, and leaders for under 100$ Just make sure you get a 7 - 8wt rod for the salt.
Another decent entry level source, is BASS Pro Shops White River series. With Bass Pro, you can get the feel of the rods, not so with Cabela’s. There is a Bass Pro in Savannah.
As the previous poster claimed, an 8 wt is prime for Redfish/Spottial, though a little heavy for Sea Trout.

Cabelas has some good SR/LSR and salt rod combos. you can get a TFO rod if you want for about the same money. may be a little more than you want to spend, keep checking for sales
Ebay if you want used, lot of people get into and then sell their gear.
I have an Orvis 8wt and an Okuma reel and I love it. The rod was a going away gift when I left Colorado but they sell for around $80 and the reel I got from CA in West Ashley for around $40. Great set up and easy to throw.
