This thing is pretty much indestructible. It casts slow and is a joy to fish. Forces you to slow down and take life a little easier

The handle is reversible to switch between casting and fly.
Poorly done wrap job long time ago.
Use it, it’s never going to be collectible or do a good wrap and hang in your man cave.

Ricky, The bamboo had a little bit of a decal still on it when I bought it years ago. Doing some research these were mass produced and sold in Sears, JC Penny and other box stores in the 40’s and 50’s. ferrules and pieces are chrome plated steel, not the nickel silver parts of a high end bamboo rod. It’s a nice usable piece of history, but never worth much money. I paid more for it than I should have. It has brought hundreds of trout to hand, so it was worth every penny.
