Ok I’m headed to the fly shop to grab some new tackle. What are a couple of go-to patterns for spring-summer. I have got to put a salt water fish on the end of this fly rod before I freak out. These bluegills are not cutting it anymore!! haha. I dont care if its a croaker, just something that lives in salt water
I can probably put you on some pinfish
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Bummer that you didn’t get any ‘real’ replies. Maybe repost as ‘Recommendation for salt water flies’ and then indicate any ‘preferred’ fish. Although anything live might meet your needs. I’ve seen some really cool flies posted on this site, but it’s great to have just a few ‘go to’ patterns.
Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

crabs and lively flies (wrabbit or marabou) in the grass. EP flies in the lower water have always done me right
