Got to the landing just before sunrise the fog was so thick I couldn’t see past the front of my boat. I took off and headed up the Wando creaping along trying to find my way. After about a hour long slow agonizing ride to the first spot I was more than happy to anchor up for a while and fish. The bite was slow for the first couple hours during the end of the falling tide and the fog hadn’t lifted yet either. Caught a few dink trout and quite a few small lady fish just before low tide. We decided to go net some more bait and try another area and I’m glad we did. With a livewell full of shrimp and mullet we bounced around for a while until we found some fish. Between three or four areas we picked up a few more dink trout 12" to 14", four or five small reds 10" to 15" and six overslot 24" to 31". Overall great day on the water caught a few fish found lots of bait and nowhere near as much holiday traffic as I was expecting.
Nice pix again big dog, post more if you got em of all and good rept - i am headed that way today. All this crowd should take more pix of all fish. If u get into a big school you could take like 100 pix. Killer.
I went out that morning as well. That fog was something else; instead of 30 minutes of topwater trout action, I kept at it for nearly two hours. Thanks for the report!
