i saw an ad for FISHMASTER folding t-tops. i want to replace my existing t-top. i was wondering if anyone has either heard anything"good or neg." about them, or purchased one.
Why not use a local vendor? He’s a member here and does great work.

I would be careful when purchasign a folding T-Top. Everyone I have ever installed for a customer has been very loud and rattles a lot.

Guy on this site does some of that work Happy Bob was his screen name I believe.
Also check with Capt. Ed (screen name) He may be able to help as he does metal work but not sure if that is something he can do. Hope this helps.
Brooks Oswald at Oswald Props made one for me and it is really nice. Price was very reasonable.

I have a Fishmaster t-top and love it. It is guiet and doesn’t rattle at all. It takes less than 5 minutes for me to put up by myself. I would have used HappyBob, but he said he couldn’t compete with the internet price. I had to have a folding t-top to store the boat under the carport.
Stryker t-tops look much better, but from my understanding, don’t have the same coverage as a Fishmaster.
Rumblefish- You can mount a electronics box to the folding t-top.

one of the companies i spoke with said a box could not be mounted on theirs.i also got to thinking a fixed model would be alot sturdier.

The foldable t-tops are great and actually pretty sturdy. To me they are just like the other t-tops but with one downfall. If you are like me you grab on to the ttop when going around the boat etc, and the grease at the joints gets all over your hands

I have fishmaster t top and love it never had a problem with it rattling.I put it up by my self in few minutes kept me from getting wet alot in storms.
