Going to Folly to stay down at the washout for the first two weeks of October. Taking my kayak and flyrod, spinning rod. What’s going on in the creek across the road from the beach there? Do I need to drive off Folly to fish or can I slip in there at the washout creek and throw a clouser or whatever and catch a fish? Thanks in advance to anyone local who can help me…HM
There is a landing on the right just as you come into FB island, it’s a good place to paddle and fish for real. Access to that creek is a bit tough but if you think you can get in there, go for it. Lotta trout out there and reds too. Those are some good flats for kayaks back there, google em up.
