Stickman dropped stickboat in this morning with stick-son and stick-neighbor for the low tide rising trout bite. All artificial, 58* water, windy NE 15 steady, broken clouds early, cleat water. Not one single bite. Better than sitting on the couch though. Thanks stickman!
if folly is windy their is NOTHING except crabs. Were you in the folly river towards the stono or the other side of the bridge to morris, or crosbys creek? In the folly only about 1 or 2 spots in each area produce. Im suprised you didnt catch anything on the incoming tide thouugh! and your right no such thing as bad days on a boat only better ones with a full cooler!

The fish are always there, you just have to know where to find them. And there are plenty of overlooked spots in the Folly.
Glad to hear it’s not too cold to be out on the water. I’ll be back on the 23rd for a month Carl, I still need to catch a ride on Palmetto C

I’m off the week between Christmas and New Years and will be looking to get on the water…would love to have you on the boat…maybe even get offshore before groupa season closes…
I think it was the nice weather yesterday, fished 2 hours without a bite, went back today same tide, same bait, caught 5 bass about 18"-20" on slack low water. Got soaking wet trying for trout for an hour on the incoming.Don’t want to know your spot, but is anyone catching any keeper trout in Wadmalaw Sound?

Derek, I’m not a grouper fisherman, just happened upon them before…we caught a couple at a nearshore reef, but I think most of them this time of year are out past 100’ of water…check the offshore discussion and reports pages…lots more info there…
