Went out yesterday about a half hour before low tide. We put in at folly harbor which is my usual stomping grounds. Got to the dock my buddy said he’d had luck at previously and setup.
He was throwing cut fresh shrimp on a bottom rig up under the dock and I was throwing live shrimp. My live shrimp were tiny and gettin targeted by bsbs and whatnot pretty heavily. My buddy hooked up about 15 mins after we arrived.

I switched to cut shrimp and hooked up pretty soon after. From there as the tide started to Fill in we cruised around and ended up over near crosbys market, we had some good luck in that area as well.
I was still throwing cut shrimp on a Carolina rig on one pole and bumping gulps on a jig head across the bottom hoping for a nice flounder. Pulled this redfish in off the gulp about a half hour before sunset.

Was a really fun day, we caught a bunch of big whiting and a couple trout as well.
