The wife and I hit the Folly River this past weekend. The river and creeks were full of mullet and shrimp. With just a few cast with the net we had more than enough bait. We Fished a few of our favorite spots and caught a few small drum. I caught a couple 14" drum and 1 just a little over 14" trout. Never could find any decent sized fish but the river was full of 12"-14" fish. I’m sure they where there but we didn’t have must luck finding them. We released the barely legal drum but keep 1 keeper trout for dinner and a few blue crab for my wife’s wonderful crab cakes. I caught the trout and a couple of the drum on the original trout trick with white jig head! I’m almost out of the original trout tricks. One of my favorites! Looks like there getting harder to find. It’s always worth the ride down to see that beautiful Folly River sunset.
I’m having trouble posting pics!
Archer, we have 100% of the remaining original TT’s in stock. Probably a few thousand left. We also have them for the least price found anywhere (starting at 0.52/ea and lower), but they must be purchased in bulk. See eyestrikefishing.com for quantities and prices. Thanks and I agree, there is something very special about the original TT’s. I never leave the dock without them.
