The Drum bite was great this past weekend. My wife and I had a lot of fun on Folly and Stono river. We caught and released a lot of fish. Under and in and over the slot! I tried a few different artificial baits but the magic bait this time was just good old live finger mullet under a popping cork on trout eye jig heads. I used the trout eye jig heads with the mullet mainly just because I love those Jig Heads! LOL We caught most of the fish on incoming tide just as it reached the oyster beds.
The steamed oysters on the sandbar for lunch and the beautiful Folly sunsets topped off a great weekend.
