Me? Zip, fishing green grub on 1/4 oz jig, and small spoon against the bank near peirs.
Guys on Pier? 4 reds. 1 over slot, 3 shorties. Mud minnow 18" under cajun cork up against the grass from the pier. Did I mention they were fishing off the pier?

Do you mean the Folly Park pier?
Anyone wanna volunteer to show me around the Folly River haha, I work out here and not very in touch with the surroundings I know the waterway is loaded with oyster beds but thats about it? Any advise/help would be great
I have a place on Folly River and it can funny at times. I was down a couple of weeks ago with a friend and we spent all Friday in the boat taking the beating from the winds that day. Didn’t catch anything all day, just fed bait stealers. On Saturday we decided to just fish from the dock for a couple of hours since we wanted to steam some crabs and watch football in afternoon. We had a few hook-ups and pulled in a red and a flounder in about 30 mins. I have also fished from the dock and not get a bite and then watch a guy pull up in a boat at the next dock and rip a red with every cast. Right place, right time, right bait, right technique. Nothing to it!
I love the folly river. Dilly what tide were you fishing? Hurricane Try 2hrs before and 2hrs after low doing your same technique. Maybe slow it down and bump the grub off the bottom. Also try trolling 3 feet off the waterline around the oyster banks once the tide has come up. You may want to swing by Haddrells point in West Ashley prior to fishing. Talk to Scott and see what the trout are hitting. Then get ready to rip some lips.

The piers I fish are within sight of the Folly River landing.
