I used to make the run between Stono and Folly Rivers a good bit but it’s been several years, possibly a decade. I seem to remember the channel shifted quite a bit between Sunset Cay and Bird Key. I don’t remember really trusting the markers. I assume this is still the case? Anyone shed some light on this area for me?

dredge pipe and rig is set up near the marina now…assume they are going to dredge the sandbar in the middle again…channel near Bird Key runs closer to the West bank, kinda like it has for the last several years that I remember…channel markers once you kinda come out into the Stono seemed accurate to me 2 weeks ago…
