I have decided to plant something this year on some property in Orangeburg county, it’s about 1 acre, sandy soil, just wondering what other people in this area plant for summer and fall, I have someone that will do the prep and planting, I just have to furnish the product, any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Thanks to all that responded, I know Salty pounds the ground around this area somewhat, so would you recommend a source or two to purchase these seeds, I’m coming from the Charleston area, thanks.

unless you have somewhat favorable results from a soil sample,I would not invest a whole lot of time and money.

Clemson extension,Possums landscape supply,or most large farm center supply stores can evaluate your sample.
