Buddy of mine just purchased a preowned Boston Whaler with a 1984 Suzuki DT85. It’s not peeing with the muffs or fully submersed at the landing. It’s shooting water strong out of the exhaust port on the back of the motor though. He’s tried pushing a piece of wire into the fitting on the side of the block where the hose for the water pump indicator attaches and it will only go 1/2" to 1" and bottoms out solid. Previous owner also took the thermostat all the way out of it. Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.
blow compressed air through the pee hole and see if it clears teh blockage
Tried that already with no luck.

next step is follow the pee hose
where it comes out of the block, disconnect and see if it is corroded shut
if not, drop the gearcase and hook up a waterhose and see if it pees
He was able to take a small drill bit and twist with pliers where it went into block and get thru some corrosion that had it blocked…Thank You!
