For HAVANADAYDREAM

He couldn’t post photos from his phone & asked me to do it. Plus a couple I took.

Kudos to Bob!!! I hand drew a picture with dimensions on it, emailed it to him, sent a check, and boom 10 days later it was on my front porch. Exactly like I wanted and a much better price than some random place in florida . BTW that is black powder coated Aluminum. Awesome job! Couldn’t be more happier.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day. FISH 24/7---- 25 Grady w/ a couple of Gas Guzzling 175 Johnsons “O-SEA-D” the old “Havanadaydream”

Bob, that’s some good stuff right there! Did you have to make a jig of some sort, to hold the pieces while assembling it? Can’t imagine doing it freehand! I would have probably tried that first and messed it up!

The closest thing to a jig/fixture, is a piece of 2" X 4" alum. box tube that I screwed the mounting pads to. Then just small bar clamps & a digital angle finder to get the rod holders at the right angle. I also have pipe templates that I use when I lay it all out on my work table. Easy-peasy.
I would have had it done a lot quicker, but I was working on another job at the same time.

I rebuilt the upper section of this poling platform to so the owner could put it in his garage. I had put “break-aways” on it about 7 years ago, but it was too awkward/heavy for him to take apart and lift alone. so I rebuilt it 4 1/2" shorter.
